Q1: Are POW BAR energy bars plant based / vegan-friendly?

A1: Yes! All POW BAR energy bars are 100% plant-based and free from animal-derived ingredients. They are suitable for vegans and those following a plant-based diet.

Q2: Are they gluten-free?

A2: While none of our ingredients naturally contain gluten, and we do not use any gluten-containing ingredients in our Hokkaido facility, some of our raw ingredient suppliers cannot guarantee zero cross-contamination. In particular, oats, which are used in all of our bars, may be exposed to gluten during harvest or processing.

If you have celiac disease or a severe gluten allergy, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before consuming.

Q3: Do your energy bars contain sugar?

A3: Most of our bars are free from added sugar. However, our Fig & Hazelnut flavor contains organic dark chocolate, which includes a small amount of organic cane sugar. All other flavors are sweetened only with natural fruits like dates and figs.

Q4: Do your products contain common allergens?

A4: Yes, our bars contain tree nuts, seeds, and sesame, which are common allergens. Please check each product’s ingredient list before consuming, especially if you have allergies.

Q5: Do POW BARs contain preservatives?

A5: No. We never use preservatives, artificial sweeteners, or synthetic additives. We believe in clean, simple, and natural ingredients only.

Q6: What is the shelf life of POW BARs?

A6: Each bar is good for 12 months from the production date. The exact expiration date is printed on the package.

Q7: How should I store them?

A7: Please store them at room temperature in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. After opening, consume as soon as possible for best freshness.

Q8: Can I order online?

A8: Absolutely. You can purchase directly from our official website, and we ship throughout Japan.

Q9: How much is the shipping fee?

A9: Orders over ¥5,000 (tax included) qualify for free shipping anywhere in Japan. For orders below that amount, shipping fees vary by region. For details, please refer to our Shipping Policy.

Q10: How long will it take to receive my order?

A10: We usually ship orders within 2–3 business days after confirmation. Delivery typically takes 1–3 days after shipping, depending on your location.

Q11: What is POW BAR doing for the environment?

A11: We are committed to sustainability. A portion of our sales goes to environmental non-profits focused on plastic reduction and ocean cleanup. Learn more on our Sustainability page.

Q12: Are your packages eco-friendly?

A12: While we are currently using plastic packaging for freshness and safety, we are actively researching more sustainable options. In the meantime, we support plastic offset programs to reduce our environmental impact.

Q13: Do you ship to Hong Kong?

Yes — we offer international shipping from Japan to select regions, including Hong Kong.
